WHY IS IT IMPORTANT: Adobe Creative Cloud Express is a cloud-based media creation application that makes it easy for anyone to create impressive social media graphics, promotional videos, and single-page websites. One of its great features is that it can be accessed from any device with online access.

At the bottom of your screen, type Creative Cloud in the seach bar and click on Adobe Creative Cloud!

Adobe Express is template-based...this means alot of the hard work is already done for you!

This is where we can create a new item in Adobe Express.
From Collages to social Media posts, there is everything we need for quick graphics!
Also located here are QUICK ACTIONS

Name your file: First Initial Last Initial IDENTITY

on the left you'll find a toolbar with assets, like text, to add to your graphic. At the top you'll find a header with oprions to change the editor. When you click an asset in the editor, a panel will appear showing options for that asset!

Change the image: Click the image. In the IMAGE panel that appears on the left side of the editor, click the REPLACE icon.
Upload the JPG photo of yourself we just downloaded to your PHOTOGRAPHY folder on your desktop!
Select the Image and Click OPEN!
Remove Background!

With the Image still selected...
Click on the left, REMOVE BACKGROUND!

Resize
Resize (if needed) the image by clicking and dragging the handles (circles) at the corners to resize! The BARS on the edges will CROP the image (if needed).

To Edit the Text...Double click each text box to select the text and edit it with YOUR information!
To change the stule of text, use the TEXT panel on the left to change the font, colorfill, layout and more!
CHANGE SHAPES AND ICONS!

To Edit the shapes and icons...Click your shapes and icons to change the color fill, layout and more.
Resize shapes and icons by dragging the handles (circles at the corners) to resize!
YOU MUST CHANGE THE COLOR OF EACH SHAPE AND ICON from the original colors!
NOW ADD ONE ADDITIONAL SHAPE AND TEXT BOX WITH SOMETHING ABOUT YOU! (For the text you can right click and duplcate!)
TIP: Click the ELEMENTS ICON and choose SHAPES AND ICONS!

At the top of the screen, click on background color and change it to a LIGHT GRAY

When you are done...
The file must INCLUDE YOUR INITIALS IN THE NAME:

Click DOWNLOAD on the top RIGHT
Select JPG (pulldown menu)
CLICK DOWNLOAD
SAVE it to your PHOTOGRAPHY FOLDER (on your DESKTOP)!

Select Assignments

Adobe Express: Creative Identity!
Scroll down to MY WORK
Click +ATTACH
Click UPLOAD FROM THIS DEVICE
Select DESKTOP (on the left) then the PHOTOGRAPHY Folder
Find the exported file and select it (it should be called
First Initial Last Initial IDENTITY.jpg
Click OPEN
Wait for file to upload
File will show up below under My Work
CLICK TURN IN!
NOTE: There MUST be a file attached to get credit. Simply clicking TURN IN will not do!!!
