All photography images need to be added to your portfolio as you complete your assignment!
WHAT ARE WE LEARNING: Resume Building!
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT: Building a resume in high school is a critical step for jumpstarting your future. It serves as your personal marketing tool, helping you stand out when applying to colleges, jobs, internships, and scholarships. It also organizes your achievements, making it much easier to request letters of recommendation.
HOW WILL MY TEACHER KNOW WHAT I LEARNED: You will follow along with instruction and use what we have learned to create an amazing resume!
Go to Adobe Express (You have bookmarked this!)!
Creative Cloud on Desktop!
Click the Creative Cloud Icon on your DESKTOP to go to your Adobe Creative Cloud files!
Let's create a RESUME!
In the search, type RESUME
Select Resume (8.5 x 11in)
(Click to Browse Templates)
Scroll through and select one you like! You may choose one that includes a PHOTO but you will need a photo of yourself!
Click on it to begin!
Name it "First Name Last Name Resume 2026"
Type your First and Last name
Change your title to
Photographer
Below is an example (not exact changes)
Do NOT include your home address!
Education: Hoover High School
Training? 2026 Digital Photography I
Skills?
MicroSoft
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Express
Digital Photography
Add a paragraph about you! (See paragraph above Class Projects!)
Change Work Experience to Class Projects
Click on "What are we doing" (above right on this website) to find what we did in the past!
Choose at least 3 projects like:
Abstractions
Bird's Eye/Worm's Eye
Leading Lines
Textures
Motion
Surrealism
Depth of Field
Forced Perspective
Framing
Reflections
Pareidolia
Linear Shadows
Environmental Portraits
Write a sentence telling the reader what each project was about!
Don't forget to give them a link to your PORTFOLIO!
Click on the photo
Select REPLACE
On the left click UPLOAD PHOTO
Select the photo
Click OPEN
Here you can resize, rotate etc!
You can even REMOVE BACKGROUND!
Click the Check mark (top right) when you are happy!
Each layout is different! Make sure to look each part over and update anything and everything that does NOT (or does) pertain to YOU!
WHEN YOU ARE DONE...
When you are done...
Click DOWNLOAD on the top RIGHT (the arrow pointing DOWN)
Select PDF (pulldown menu)
CLICK DOWNLOAD
Go to our Classroom in TEAMS
Select Assignments
Select
Adobe Express: RESUME!!
Scroll down to MY WORK
Click +ATTACH
Select DESKTOP (on the left) then the PHOTOGRAPHY Folder
Find the PDF file we EXPORTED and select it:
Your Name RESUME.PDF
Click OPEN
Wait for file to upload
File will show up below under My Work
CLICK TURN IN!
NOTE: There MUST be a PDF file attached to get credit. Simply clicking TURN IN will not do!!!
TOTAL: 50 POINTS!!!
DUE: Friday, May 29
When you are done, add your RESUME to your PORTFOLIO!
DO NOT CREATE A NEW PORTFOLIO!!!
Under your About me...
click the +
Select YOUR STUFF
Find your Resume!
Select it!
Click on ADD AS IMAGE!
REPUBLISH YOUR PORTFOLIO...Click SHARE!
SHARE...
On the TOP RIGHT, click the SHARE button.
Select PUBLISH OPTIONS.
Publish Options...
Click
REPUBLISH
Wait for it to REPUBLISH!
Every time you add to your portfolio you need to REPUBLISH to make the changes live!
Ctrl+Alt+Delete then select SIGN OFF!
Please place HEADPHONES on your Monitors!
